About the Recipe

This Salsa Verde recipe delivers a bright and flavorful punch. Roasting the tomatillos, serrano peppers, and onion brings out their sweetness and adds a subtle smoky depth. Blended with fresh cilantro, roasted garlic, lime juice and zest, and a touch of honey, this salsa is both tangy and slightly sweet with a pleasant heat from the serranos. It's a versatile sauce that pairs wonderfully with tacos, grilled meats, eggs, and so much more. 1 Adjust the number of serranos to your preferred spice level.

  • 5-6 tomatillos

  • 2-3 serrano peppers
